Been at it since the last 18 months - Having the time of my life! Haven't made a better decision than to 'take the plunge'. Come here and you won't regret...

That's a great thing! I want to do so too... But waiting to finish school. I find that there are a few things that I'm not sure about, like amount of risk I'm comfortable with, things needed to know, etc. How about more posts about your experiences as an entrepreneur? That would help would-be entrepreneurs like us when we start our own firms and encourage us to 'go and get it'.

Thanks Alpine, for the idea. I will surely do so, now on... btw, you have ticked all the criterion - Yesss, anyone from CBE has these by default :D

:) Guess that goes with the territory! But I think its more to do with the family that you are born into rather than the region that has the most effect because I personally know of some Cbeians who look at me as if I sprouted some horns when I talk about entrepreneurship, for according to them, giving up a safe and secure job for your own business is next in list to stupidity. I don't say working for someone else is wrong or no one should do it, but I feel I'm not suited for that. Its kind of hard to explain the entrepreneurship feeling to others. How did you deal with that? My family is totally for me checking out my passions on business. But some of my friends feel that I'd be taking undue risk even though I try telling them that I'm doing my best not to take stupid risks. Any comments/pointers?
